Meadows Program®

For residents with Alzheimer's disease and other memory impairments.

Caring for residents with Alzheimer's and related dementia means recognizing that those with memory loss are individuals, deserving of respect and dignity. We build on this belief through the Meadows Program, a unique program that strives to enhance the quality of each resident's life.

Put simply, our aim is to help residents lead happy, fulfilling lives by participating in activities, sharing memories, helping themselves and others, and enhancing loving relationships with their friends and families.

Validation Program
Ecumenical is proud to offer the Validation® Method, through our specially trained co-workers, to our residents with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia. Validation is a technique whereby co-workers enter the world of the confused older person, thereby providing a practical method for communicating with confused residents, accepting them where they are. Best of all, Validation helps co-workers see and understand the wisdom and knowledge in a person with dementia. For more information on Validation, visit www.vfvalidation.org.
