Message from the Chairman of the Board
Welcome to The Ecumenical Community. Each resident at The Ecumenical Community has a purpose. You can feel the spirit and warmth when you walk through the front door. Residents are proud and willing to take part in our strong volunteer program. We believe that The Ecumenical Community is successful because the residents get involved in assisting the staff with a variety of operational and social functions. For example, our residents help with everything from answering the telephone to making sandwiches for the needy children of greater Harrisburg.
The Ecumenical Community is a not-for-profit community of diversity and autonomy, where empowered residents live together to make a difference inside and outside the community. Each resident and co-worker celebrate each other’s uniqueness, making The Ecumenical Communty a special place for seniors to live and remain active in their community.
We invite you to further explore our website and hear what our residents have to say about The Ecumenical Community. We also offer an on-line employment application for anyone interested in becoming a part of the The Ecumenical Community team.
Our community has independent and assisted living accommodations. Within our assisted living area, we offer a secure environment with special programming for our residents living with Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementia.
We welcome you to contact one of our marketing professionals, Jason Turri or Scott McDonald at (717) 561-9982 to learn what makes The Ecumenical Community of Harrisburg a great place for seniors to live.
Sincerely,
John Rhodes, Chairman of the Board
